Overview
The Directorate of Scientific Affairs is a pivotal directorate within the Presidency of Akre University for Applied Sciences. It plays a fundamental role in managing academic matters in alignment with the university’s vision and standards of quality and academic accreditation.
The Directorate oversees the preparation of study plans, updates curricula, and coordinates with academic departments. It also manages academic promotion procedures and implements ministerial regulations to ensure excellence across all university units.
Furthermore, it supports the research environment by encouraging publication in reputable journals and strengthening cooperation with international academic institutions, aiming to graduate qualified professionals capable of contributing to sustainable development.

- Monitoring academic promotion procedures and reviewing research files.

- Following up on ministerial regulations and ensuring their application.
- Coordinating students’ practical training with colleges and institutes.
- Proposing scientific development projects to the University Presidency.
- Providing scientific and administrative consultations for academic matters.
