Courses
The course of pedagogy is divided into six modules, spread over six months, as follows:
Information – Communication Technology and Artificial Intelligence (ICT & AI)
This module focuses on integrating digital tools, platforms, and ICT & AI techniques into teaching and learning processes to enhance educational outcomes. It introduces new possibilities for engagement, accessibility, personalization, and collaboration. Thus, the goal is not to use computer technology for its own sake, but to improve learning experiences and student achievement.
Research and Development (R&D)
This module aims to develop creative and effective researchers capable of contributing to academic advancement and improving educational practices. It covers fundamental aspects of research, publishing, academic integrity, and the role of research in enhancing university rankings and securing funding.
Student-Centered Learning (SCL)
This module explores the shift from teacher-centered to student-centered approaches. Instead of one-way lectures, students actively participate in their learning through discovery, problem-solving, and interactive strategies such as; think–discuss–participate.
Innovative Pedagogical Approaches and Assessment Tools (IPA&AT)
This module focuses on modern, creative, and student-centered learning approaches that make education more engaging and effective. Topics include project-based learning, flipped classrooms, inquiry-based learning, gamification, and blended learning. It also covers tools and methods for assessing student performance and progress, such as rubrics, checklists, rating scales, quizzes, and tests.
Competency-Based Education (CBE)
This module introduces a learning model focused on developing specific competencies; knowledge, skills, and attitudes that enable students to succeed in academic and professional contexts.
Entrepreneurship in Education (Edupreneurship)
This final module examines how entrepreneurial principles, innovation, and business strategies can be applied in education to create creative, scalable, and sustainable educational models.
